Victoria's Secret angel takes a tumble but wins hearts

Ever seen an angel fall?

She does it with a smile, even as she lands hard on her knees.

While strutting down the glossy runway, Chinese model Mingxi tripped on her long flowy robe and took a tumble at Victoria's Secret fashion show in Shanghai on Monday (Nov 20).

The 28-year-old took a moment to adjust her floral wings and was helped to her feet by fellow model Gizele Oliveira.

Mingxi then continued to trot down the catwalk as the crowds cheered her on.

Smooth.

The model took to Weibo Monday night to apologise for the stumble, saying: "I'm sorry to let everyone down. Thanks everyone for their concern.

"As a model for seven years, I have fallen on this road many times, but I know no matter how painful it is, I must stand and finish." "The future road is long. I will always continue walking."

Embarrassing as it was, the leggy beauty's unexpected tumble will most likely not be shown on the broadcast next week on CBS. Victoria's Secret fashion shows are usually filmed twice, according to Harper's Bazaar.

Although losing one's balance on the runway is a model's worst nightmare, Mingxi's professionalism and graceful recovery have won her many praises online.
