BBC accidentally airs topless woman on live TV

A BBC news clip about cricket is now trending on social media for all the wrong reasons.

As presenter Sophie Raworth was reporting England's triumph over South Africa in the Test series on Tuesday (Aug 8), a woman was seen stripping on a computer screen in the background.

Her bare breasts were broadcast for about a second to some 3.8 million people, The Independent reported.

Eagle-eyed viewers took to Twitter to comment on the gaffe, to which BBC has responded by saying they are establishing the facts and circumstances.

This is the third bosom-related incident BBC has encountered this year.

Just last Saturday (Aug 5), a woman sneakily flashed her breast to the camera during a live interview.

In May, also during a live interview, a male presenter pushed away a woman who stepped into the frame by grabbing her breast.
