Airlines are constantly improving their offerings on board and Smarter Travel has listed out some surprisingly pleasing perks that can make your flight more fun and comfortable.

Taiwanese airline EVA Air will make every Hello Kitty fan's dream come through by making the popular Japanese character become larger than life with their six-themed aircraft.

Almost every inch of the aircraft is decked out with Hello Kitty fixtures and decorations, and the cabin crew are dressed with a kitty-print apron. To enhance the flight experience, themed music and meals will be played and served throughout the duration.

Not quite your style? Then how about indulging in a romantic "candlelight" meal with your partner while flying to your destination?

Turkish Airlines is giving their passengers a romantic mood option and a chance to taste their famous traditional sweet treat with their in-flight menu.

Business class passengers get to enjoy their Turkish delights along with their locally-made coffee under a romantic setting of electric candle light meal.

If travelling with kids, both Emirates and Singapore Airlines provide entertainment which they can touch and even bring home.

Emirates' "Fly with me monsters" collection include soft fleece blankets and magnetic toys, while Singapore Airlines provide 3-D games and learning apps, according to Smarter Travel.
