Migratory birds create stunning formations in the sky

Flocks of migrating starlings have been flying in stunning formations across the sky near the southern Israeli town of Rahat, creating changing shapes that attract shutterbugs and residents.

The phenomenon known as murmuration is most common during the winter months, reported Reuters.

The highly social birds have also been seen in awe-inspiring flock formations in England.
