UNITED STATES - Daredevil Nik Wallenda walking along a tightrope between two skyscrapers and suspended 152.4m above the Chicago River on Sunday.

The American, who carried out the feat without a safety harness, broke the world records for the steepest tightrope incline (19 deg) and highest blindfolded walk.

Police estimated that about 50,000 people turned out to watch Wallenda, a seventh-generation member of the Flying Wallendas circus family, said the Chicago Tribune.
