Prince William to appear in gay lifestyle magazine

Prince William has confirmed that he will be appearing in the next edition of gay lifestyle magazine Attitude, UK media reported on Wednesday (June 15).

According to The Daily Mail, the Duke of Cambridge told a member of staff during a visit to the American Embassy that he had granted an interview to the monthly publication.

He and his wife, Kate, were at the embassy to sign a book of condolence for victims who died during a shooting at an Orlando gay nightclub last weekend.

The magazine previously featured many straight and openly gay celebrities, and even published an interview with then-prime minister Tony Blair in 2005.

The Sydney Morning Herald reported that the prince is expected to speak out against the bullying of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) youths in his interview.

His interview with the magazine will be published on June 22.
