Teacher fired for being a porn star

A teacher in Germany lost her job after the school she worked at discovered that she had been moonlighting as a hardcore porn actress.

The woman, known in the porn trade as Julia Pink, worked with the Diakonia Germany Evangelical Federal Association in Munich.

She taught children and supervised adults with learning disabilities

Miss Pink, 38, had worked there for 17 years, reported UK's The Mirror.

She was sacked after church leaders found out about her erotic films and decided she was not suitable to teach in the school.

A church spokesman said: "Despite her long years of service, we feel that her other work is incompatible with our message."

In October, Miss Pink took the association to court.

Judge Renate Leier agreed that her dismissal without notice was "unfair", but that the "reasons for doing so were legitimate".

The judge ruled that "the applicant is involved with pornographic activities, contrary to the Church's sexual ethics and thereby committed a breach of duty of loyalty that may justify a dismissal".

Miss Pink, however, is appealing the ruling and claims she can still promote Christian values.

She said: "I do porn films, but that doesn't mean I can't teach and that I can't promote Christian values.

"I myself am a Catholic and a believer. I visit swingers clubs and do porn, but so what?"

Parent Christian Herman whose two children are taught by Miss Pink, said: "Millions of people watch porn in Germany and around the world and it doesn't mean that they can't bring up their children properly."
