Ramage is one of four U.S. destroyers currently deployed in the Mediterranean Sea equipped with long-range Tomahawk missles that could potentially be used to strike Syria, according to officials.

WASHINGTON - THE US Navy did not fire any missiles from ships in the Mediterranean, a spokesman for the US Navy's European headquarters said on Tuesday.
