Woman so busy texting, she ends up going for a swim in showroom

This woman was so distracted by her surroundings that she failed to spot what was in front of her... namely, a shallow pool.

A viral clip of her unfortunate mishap has drawn many comments about the importance of being alert to what is going on around you.

The video starts with the woman shown busy attending to her text message.

But she is texting while walking, and fails to spot the shallow pool in the showroom she is in.

She then steps right into the pool, slipping and falling into the water.

After getting drenched, she picks herself up and walks out of the pool, looking visibly shocked by the accident.
