KUALA LUMPUR, MALAYSIA - Ikea has recalled its Femton clamp spotlight following tests that showed there was a risk of over-heating.

The Swedish furniture giant wants customers who have bought the spotlight, which is a "goose-neck" lamp with a flexible stem, to bring it back to the Ikea store, where they will receive a full refund.

The spotlight has been sold since 2004 and it is marked with a four-digit date stamp (YYMM), a five digit supplier no (17796), IKEA logo and country of manufacturer.

For more information, customers can call Ikea at 03-7726 7777.
