The Star

A 23-year-old woman finally had the courage to lodge a police report against her five brothers for rape after keeping it a secret for 10 years, reported Harian Metro.

The victim, who alleged that she was raped from the time she was 13 to 18, said she had not lodged a report earlier because she could not bear to see her brothers in jail.

She added that she felt obliged towards them because they had taken care of her when she was hospitalised for heart complications.

Kajang OCPD Asst Comm Sakaruddin Che Mood said the suspects have been arrested to assist in investigations.
