AN unemployed 19-year-old man sweet-talked chubby girls in Kuala Lumpur into parting with their money and then left them stranded in remote areas, Harian Metro reported.

The man picked his victims from social networking website www.myspace.com, seeking dates.

His activities were exposed by a victim's father, Roni Mat Zin, 45, when she disappeared after going out on a date with the man more than a week ago.

Asmira, 19, went missing on Oct 23 after she told her father that she was going to Kuantan to buy stationery, when she was actually meeting the man.

"Asmira could not be contacted and efforts to track her whereabouts found that she was moving about Negri Sembilan, Malacca and Kuala Lumpur, based on her ATM withdrawal records," Roni said.

He was informed that the man had victimised more than four other plump girls before this.

The father has since lodged a police report.
