A 61-year-old man suspected of raping an 11-year-old girl numerous times and giving her RM5 to RM10 tips was arrested last Sunday, Berita Harian reported.

Kuantan district CID Chief Supt Kamaruzzaman Jaafar said the man was being held at the Kuantan police headquarters.

It was also reported earlier that two 11-year-old sisters claimed they were raped by a man they knew and were paid RM5 to RM10.

They also claimed the money was taken by their stepmother, who was jailed 20 months after pleading guilty to child abuse on October 28.

The head of a baby was found in a rubbish dump on Monday after its body was believed to be eaten by stray dogs, Kosmo! reported.

The gender of the baby could not be immediately determined because of the condition of its remains.
