Company MD killed in head-on crash

KOTA KINABALU, MALAYSIA - A businessman Datuk was killed when his Mercedes-Benz crashed head-on with a lorry on the Menumbok-Beaufort road near Kuala Penyu, about 135km from here.

Labuan-based Datuk Goh Sim Yee, 39, was declared dead on arrival at the Kuala Penyu district hospital.

The unidentified lorry driver remained in critical condition at the hospital after the 4.50pm collision on Friday.

Goh was driving from Menumbok to Kota Kinabalu when he collided with an oncoming lorry, police said.

He leaves behind a wife, two sons and daughter.
