KUALA LUMPUR, MALAYSIA - A prostitute got the chills when KL police raided a building in Jalan Thambipillay, Brickfields during anti-vice ops on Tuesday night.

She decided to hide in a refrigerator to avoid detection.

Luckily for her, it was a disused refrigerator.

She could have suffocated if the raiding party had not discovered her hiding place and arrested her together with 15 other women.

"The suspects were mostly from Sabah and Sarawak aged between 24 and 30 years,"

City police secret society, gambling and vice division (D7) chief Deputy Superintendent Razali Abu Samah said.

DSP Razali, who spearheaded the operation during the 7.45pm raid, said most of the women were found hiding inside their rooms.

Seven men, believed to be customers, were also arrested to help in investigations.
