PETALING JAYA, MALAYSIA: Many Facebook users are clamouring for the man, who allegedly raped a 10-year-old girl he sends to school, to be castrated for his crime.

Describing him as a "monster" and an "animal", there were others who had even called for him to be sentenced to death.

One Facebook user who suggested the death sentence to be imposed on rapists was Pat Lim-Chor.

"A leopard never changes its spots, so why waste time letting rapists spend time in jail. Do not be sympathetic with them because they do not show the same sympathy to their victims," Chor said.

Netizens Azrina Razali and Shinu Demudu echoed Chor's suggestion while Iela Joe said the law should be amended to provide harsher penalties for rapists if necessary.

Leong Ang agreed that the current jail term for rapists was insufficient.

A reader sent in an SMS, saying that the "beast bus driver" deserved the death penalty.
