The Straits Times

SINCE Wednesday, a group of senior citizens have been stationed at Changi Airport's two terminals helping passengers with directions and information.

An initiative launched by the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS) and the Retired & Senior Volunteer Programme, Singapore (RSVP Singapore) to promote active ageing, some 100 seniors, aged between 54 and 80, went through three days of training to become Changi Senior Ambassadors (CSA).

They will be deployed during Changi Airport's evening peak period from 5pm to 9pm. On average, about 12 CSAs will be at hand to help passengers daily.
