Mediacorp Radio slapped with $5000 fine for sexy talk
Barely months after being issued a warning, radio station Class 95FM and its DJs have made the headlines again for sex-related topics on the airwaves.
Mediacorp Radio has been slapped with a $5,000 fine for a segment of apparently inappropriate content on Class 95FM's Morning Express Show, a local newspaper reported.
DJs Glenn Ong and Mark van Cuylenburg, better known as the Flying Dutchman, discussed the topics - "Should men and women make noise during sex?" and "Do noisy men turn women off?" - during a segment on August 21, between 7am and 8am.
During the programme, the DJ pair also fielded call-ins from listeners, and read out phone messages sent in from the public.
The Media Development Authority (MDA) did not comment on the fine.
Class 95FM was given a warning in June after another DJ gave instructions on a sex technique - "the goldfish way of making love".
