A Briton was charged in court on Monday with disorderly conduct and behaving in a drunk manner on board a Singapore Airlines flight form London to Singapore last Friday.
Gareth Gaudion, 48, was in the economy class cabin of SQ 319 when he allegedly endangered aircraft safety by behaving in a disorderly and drunk manner.
The prosecution applied for the case to be adjourned for a week saying that he faces a possible outrage of modesty charge.
Gaudion, who has an Indonesian wife, told the court he was transiting here to Indonesia after working three months in England.
Under the Air Navigation Order, he faces a fine of up to $5,000 or one year, or both, if convicted of endangering aircraft safety. The maximum penalty for the other offence is a $1,000 fine.
Cash bail of $4,000 was offered.
The case will be mentioned again on Nov 12.
