Madam Satpal, who owns an IT business, said yesterday: "The AVA came and said there is a chance it will be revoking the dogs' licences."
The AVA, the Agri-food and Veterinary Authority Singapore, handles cases of dog attacks.
The trouble began at about 6.15pm, when the family's maid left the front gate of the Lengkong Tiga house unlocked.
Unleashed and not muzzled, the five rottweilers ran out of the compound.
Spotting a jack russell terrier at the bus-stop opposite, the big dogs dashed across the road.
They pounced on Mr David Ow's jack russell terrier, Mambo.
Mr Ow, 59, said he was distracted by another barking dog at the time.
The advertising agency owner said: "Suddenly, I saw the five dogs coming at us. I was in a state of shock and didn't know what to do.
POUNCED
"The rottweilers pounced on my dog. One picked Mambo up in its jaw and shook him. Another one went for his throat, but his collar saved him.
"I tried to pull the rottweiler away, but it wouldn't let go. When I held onto Mambo so the dogs won't drag him away, I fell and broke my glasses."
