Pedestrian hit by taxi dies 3 weeks after

A PEDESTRIAN in his mid-40s died in hospital almost three weeks after being hit by a taxi along Yishun Ring Road towards Yishun Avenue 2.

The man was hit while trying to cross the road from the centre divider on May 25 at about 7.30pm. He was hit by a taxi driven by a man in his early 50s.

The man suffered head injuries, abrasions on his hands and legs and was taken conscious to Tan Tock Seng Hospital, where he was warded until he died.
