'I'm looking for a guy with a bike or a car'

STOMPer ah ma hippo came across this personal ad put up by a Singaporean girl who lists many requirements her ideal man must meet, including being a "multi-purpose guy" who can teach her how to play the drums and spend a lot on her.

STOMPer ah ma hippo says:

"Was surfing when I saw this... damn disgusted.

"Among the things that the girl demands is for the man to own a motorcycle or a car because she hates taking public transport, and for him to do unconventional things like hold picnic outings and play tennis.

"While she prefers those with the signs Aries, Leo and Sagittarius, she says she accepts Capricorns, Virgos and Librans as well.

In her posting, the 22-year-old girl also says:

"As for me I like doing new fun things all the time.

"I'll go even if you invite me to another country!

"And that would be the bomb cause I love seeing new things and trying out new things.

"Teach me how to play the drums, let's go rollerbladding, I'm not 'outdoorsy' but I like change.

"Even if you have a piano at your house, I'd love for you to teach me. Pubbing is fun too!"

The responses to this post range from disbelief to allegations that most Singaporean girls are materialistic, but some also laud her honesty.

"What are YOUR demands for a girl.....bet its more demanding... something like
- must do his bidding without questions
- must be caring and passionate
- must be pretty
- must treat man like the boss
- speak when only spoken to
- must not disturb when watching soccer"

Finally, a 'matchmaker' suggested that the perfect match for her would be Steven Lim, a controversial Singaporean blogger who calls himself the most handsome man in Singapore, and had offered $5,000 to anyone who wanted to be his girlfriend on his blog.

Forumer Recalcitrant said:
"Someone should introduce Steven Lim to her... He has a bike, and he likes doing unconventional things..."

READERS' POSTINGS
"This is great to keep overseas Singaporeans connected to home news and affairs"

"My favourite was "The Aftermath for Malaysia Election" - (in my opinion), this was a very well crafted world standard image, it is even suitable for a Time magazine cover!"
