Bear with din at SGH campus
Thu, Nov 05, 2009
The Straits Times

WITH THREE major construction projects in the works over the next three years, patients and visitors at the Singapore General Hospital (SGH) campus will have to put up with some inconveniences.

The existing Housemen Quarters facing SGH's block seven and the Singapore National Eye Centre will be demolished later this month to make way for the new Pathology Building. This work here is expected to last till 2012.

Vickers' House, a former nurses' hostel opposite SGH's block four, will also be taken down early next year. The new National Heart Centre will be built in its place and expected to open in 2013.
