Accused of strangling cabby

A SECURITY guard was charged on Thursday with causing hurt to a taxi driver inside the vehicle along an expressway.

Sukhdew Singh, 54, was a passenger in Mr Cha Ban Koon's cab travelling along Bukit Timah-Kranji Expressway on Sept 23 last year when he allegedly tried to strangle the 54-year-old.

His case was adjourned to Dec 17 for him to make representations.
