I'm no Tiger Woods, says businessman

BUSINESSMAN Datuk Muhamad Mustaffa Idrus, accused of having slept with more than 10 women during his three-year marriage to ex-wife Mastura Bakar, has denied that he is ''like Tiger Woods''.

The 54-year-old man, described as a philanderer during Mastura's application for a fasakh or annulment at the Lower Syariah Court in January, told Kosmo! Ahad he had to isolate himself and switch off his handphone due to the stress and embarrassment.

''I am so frustrated when people compared me with Tiger Woods on the Internet.''

''I am not a sex addict nor am I a womaniser.''

''My children, who were schooling in Penang, had to be transferred to Kuala Lumpur because they were being teased,'' said the Tasek Gelugor Umno committee member.

Muhamad Mustaffa explained that he did not deny any of Mastura's claims in court because he thought she really wanted a divorce.

''If I fight back, I will embarrass her. I would rather just let her go,'' he said.
