TWENTY years ago, when a local woman was seen with a Caucasian, she was bound to be labelled a 'Sarong Party Girl', or SPG. But mixed couples are so common today that nobody even bats an eyelid.
And in Singapore, it's not just the girls but local men who are dating Caucasians as well.
'I get stares when I walk down the street as it's usually the other way around,' says Singaporean Carl Chua whose fiancee is British.
