ST's IN mag takes top award

THE Straits Times clinched the World Association of Newspapers and News Publishers (WAN-IFRA) World Young Reader Prize 2010 under its Newspapers In Education (NIE) category.

The annual award recognises the world's top publication for innovative use of the newspaper as a teaching tool. The Straits Times took the award for its revamp of its weekly secondary-school magazine, IN.
