>MANILA - AT least two people were shot in a lower court in central Manila during a hearing, police said.
Police told reporters outside the building on Tuesday that a man and woman had been shot and they were sprawled on the floor outside the courtroom. Their condition and identities were not immediately known.
Police surrounded the Manila city hall after shooting broke out during the hearing on an upper floor of the building. -- AFP
