TAIPEI, Taiwan - A man won a big lotto jackpot of NT$206 million (S$8.88million) earlier this month and shared NT$10 million with his girlfriend for dreaming two of the winning numbers, according to the Apple Daily News.

According to Huang Zhi-yi, the general manager of Taiwan Lottery, the winner said that his girlfriend dreamed of two numbers, "44" and "45," so he shared a small part of his winnings with her. However, the winner plans to keep his win a secret from his parents.

Also, the ticket holder talked about his tips for winning lotteries such as not going to bookstores on the day of buying lotteries as well as sushi restaurants. Both of those places sound like "lose" in Chinese and Taiwanese.

The winner is a program designer who is around thirty and lives in a rented house alone, according to Huang.

The Taiwan big lotto involves pick 6 numbers from 1 through 49. The winning numbers in the Nov. 6 issue were 01, 02, 10, 44, 45, 46 and the special number was 22.

Huang said that the winner had given part of his winnings to the lottery shop. Also, he will donate NT$4 million to the Chinatrust Charity Foundation and contribute some of the money to five temples in Taiwan.
