TV shows survivors from India plane crash

NEW DELHI - Indian television channels showed footage of at least three survivors from an Air India plane that crashed with 166 people on board in the southern city of Mangalore on Saturday.

One badly burned survivor was shown on the NDTV news channel lying on a hospital bed, while another with a large bandage on her forehead was being stretchered into an emergency ward.

There were also images of a young child being treated by doctors.
