S'pore shares open lower

SINGAPORE shares opened lower on Thursday with the benchmark Straits Times Index down 9.15 points, or 0.38 per cent, to 2,382.07.

About 104 million shares exchanged hands in early trading.

Losers beat gainers 86 to 53.
