Good news for the NSman.
SAFRA is relaunching their old silver card to provide better screening entertainment, upping the game one level to give you the BlackCard.
The new card offers a range of discounts and privileges at Golden Village (GV) cinemas, with GV Tiong Bahru now home to the SAFFRA Movie Max Club.
This is a tie-up that is the first of its kind in Singapore.
Movie Max is a niche lifestyle club geared towards young NSmen, to help them connect to fellow country men. It also shows appreciation for an NSman's role in nation-bulidng by providing them with exclusive movie benefits.
Benefits for the member
Pay $30 dollars for two years and get access to cheaper ticket rates at GV Tiong Bahru. For example, a ticket costs $7, instead of the usual $10, on Sunday. It costs $6.50 on Monday and Tuesday.
In addition, SAFRA plans to host complimentary movie screenings each year. Members can also look forward to invitations to gala premiers and blockbuster movie previews.
For now, these discounts are only valid at GV Tiong Bahru, but come Oct 1, you can enjoy $8 movie tickets on weekends at all GV cinemas and $7 on weekdays, Monday to Thursday, with special popcorn combo deals as well. Movie tickets can also be bought at cheaper prices for friends.
For those who are married, Your spouse will love this card too. SAFRA has tie-ups with 650 retail and dining outlets in Singapore, including Coffee Club and Sushi Tei.
