Jacky Cheung's name used in a S$3.2mil cheating case

China Press reported that Hong Kong singer Jacky Cheung's name was used in a RM7.52mil (S$3.2mil) cheating case in China.

It said a company in China had tricked 16 corporations into believing that it was organising a concert tour for the singer in the country.

The company then signed contracts with the firms to co-organise the event and collected deposits from them.

Cheung's manager Florence Chan clarified that they had not authorised any company or individual to collect the deposits.
