Awards for budding filmmakers

MORE than 300 students were recognised for their creativity in video, animation and audio production at the Schools Digital Media Awards (SDMA) presentation ceremony on Monday.

Documentary, drama and advertisement creations along the themes of Singapore 2010, National Education, Communication and the Environment were received from 241 primary and secondary schools, junior colleges and Millennia Institute.

Sixty-six awards were presented at this year's SDMA, which attracted 655 student entries, 107 more than last year.
