Singapore - Nov 24 2021 - Tokio Marine Life Insurance Singapore Ltd (TMLS) initiated the CSR campaign "Caring From Top To Toe" to appreciate the nursing professionals of Home Nursing Foundation (HNF) for their tireless efforts on the frontlines. Mobile stations from Singapore Association of the Visually Handicapped (SAVH) will be set up for three hours each day at HNF Wellness@Buangkok on Nov 23, HNF Wellness@Hougang on Nov 24 and HNF headquarters on Nov 25 and 26, offering 30-minute head & shoulder or foot massages to nursing professionals.

Safe management measures will be in place to ensure the well-being of all. Gilbert Pak, Chief Marketing Officer, TMLS, said, "The healthcare heroes selflessly provide care for those in our community who need it most. Since the onset of the pandemic, the nursing professionals of HNF have had to cope with more hurdles in their home nursing journey. In the spirit of the festive season and on behalf of the company, we hope to extend our heartfelt appreciation with an indulgent massage treat which they rightfully deserve, in return for what they serve to the community."

He also shared, "To facilitate the programme, we are happy to engage and support a group of qualified, visually-handicapped masseurs from the Mobile Massage Team (MMT), an initiative by SAVH. This double-prong effort allows us to contribute towards a more inclusive society, as the masseurs utilise their abilities to remain employable and gain self-reliance."

"It was really tough when my team and I had zero bookings during the pandemic. We are thankful to Tokio Marine for engaging us in this great initiative." Mohan, MMT Team Leader, SAVH, expressed his gratitude for the opportunity from TMLS to showcase their professional skills. Indara Devi, Care Associate, HNF, was delighted by the treat. "Fantastic - it's the first time in my life having a foot massage! I was a bit unsure of what to expect but after the massage I feel light and relieved.

Enjoyed the session very much and thank you to Tokio Marine." Andre, Care Associate, HNF, was also very happy to enjoy the massage. He shared, "In my course of work, I often feel tensed. The session has helped to relax my weary muscles as the masseur from SAVH is very experienced in soothing the tight knots."

Dr Christina Tiong, Chief Executive Officer, HNF, said, "Picking up from last year's heart-warming Mid-Autumn campaign where they distributed 200 boxes of handmade mooncakes to our staff and patients, TMLS once again expressed their kindness in showing care for our nursing professionals.

Engaging the Mobile Massage Team from SAVH is a lovely effort to promote inclusion and empower more lives. On behalf of Home Nursing Foundation, I would like to thank the management and staff of TMLS for their continuous support and extraordinary initiatives."
