Taiwanese couple's hilarious take on travel photos will have you in stitches

We've all seen the photo series of a couple where a woman leads her boyfriend by the hand to see breathtaking sights around the world.

The photos by Murad Osmann became so popular they even sparked a spinoff series commissioned by the Singapore Tourism Board in 2015.

However, they didn't prove to be as well-liked as local netizens criticised the sight of his wife wearing a nonya kebaya top backwards while they toured Haw Par Villa.

A couple, inspired by the #FollowMeTo craze that started in 2011, recently decided to give a fresh spin on the passé trend.

Taiwanese interior designer Forrest Lu and his wife Agnes Chien recently embarked on a trip to Hawaii and their hilarious snapshots will have you in stitches.

Like many people who share travel photos online with family and friends, Mr Lu also documented their overseas trip on his Facebook page.

It started with a regular photo of the happy couple enjoying the sun and surf at Hanauma Bay.

Their self-portraits then got increasingly wacky as Mr Lu posted a photo of his wife dragging him by the hair to Waikiki Beach, with an accompanying caption: "Dear wife, it's 'hold my hand', not hold my head. Ah!"

Other funny snapshots show Mrs Lu with her fingers in his nostrils while they toured the Pearl Harbour Museum, or pulling her husband by the ear at the Dole pineapple plantation.

The photos garnered nearly 10,000 likes with many sharing the posts. Some inspired Facebook users even commented that they want to try taking the same type of photos.
