Local actress Joanne Peh expecting first child with Qi Yuwu

SINGAPORE - Local actress Joanne Peh and husband Qi Yuwu have something to look forward to this coming year.
The 30-year-old Peh is said to be pregnant with the couple's first child, according to various media reports. The child is reportedly due in the second half of 2015.
MediaCorp issued a press release on Wednesday, stating: "We are delighted to share that Joanne Peh and Qi Yuwu are expecting their first baby."
It added that the parents-to-be waited until the "safe period", or the first trimester, before announcing the good news.
According to XinMSN, Mr Daniel Yun, executive producer and co-director of upcoming local movie 1965, which also stars Qi Yuwu, said: "The whole team and crew of 1965 are very happy for them. That's all I can say," he said.
Mr Yun, a close friend of the couple, reportedly helped to organise their low-key wedding ceremony at Sentosa on Sep 2014.
According to Channel NewsAsia, the couple released a statement thanking fans and well-wishers.
Peh said: "I am in good health and we both look forward to welcoming the new addition to our family."
