The Covid-19 outbreak continues to strain Apple's global supply chain.

Apple Store employees told Bloomberg that replacement iPhones will be in short supply for up to four weeks. Some Apple Stores also noticed a shortage of individual components. They are advised to offer mail replacement iPhones to customers and provide loaner devices to ease the delay.

Bloomberg reported recently that there are shortages of the iPad Pro and the supply of iPhone 11 has begun to tighten globally.

Apple warned last month that it is unlikely to meet the revenue guidance for the March quarter due to worldwide iPhone supply being temporarily constrained and facilities in China ramping up more slowly than anticipated.

It is said to be looking for multiple lens suppliers for the next iPhone to avoid disruption to its launch plans.
