Apple TV+ attracted millions of viewers over the first three days of availability

Apple TV+ appears to be doing well a week after its launch.

Citing sources close to Apple, Hollywood Reporter and Variety claim that the four hero shows (The Morning Show, See, For All Mankind, and Dickinson) saw millions of viewers over the first three days of availability.

The average viewing time was reportedly high with each viewer watching more than an hour of TV+ content. Most viewers who watched one episode of the four heor shows came back to watch more in the season.

This exceeded Apple's expectations and the company is said to be "thrilled" with the initial reception. Morgan Stanley analyst Katy Huberty predicts that Apple TV+ would become a US$9 billion (S$12.2 billion) business by 2025.

Apple TV+ is now available in more than 100 countries including Singapore.

The monthly subscription is S$6.98. Anyone who has purchased an Apple device (iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple TV or iPod Touch) after 10 September will get one year's subscription for free!
