With Motive Studio set to release the Dead Space remake this coming Jan 27, it seems like now is the perfect time to get fans and new players hyped for the horror shooter.

And with the Dead Space official launch trailer, that objective has certainly been achieved, as the new footage gives us plenty to ponder.

If you have played the original, many of the bits would seem instantly familiar, albeit in a more detailed form this time around. We finally get to see a more realistic Isaac Clarke up close, and as such, we can expect the same treatment for the disgusting Necromorphs.

There are also scenes with both Isaac’s girlfriend Nicole and the nefarious Dr Challus Mercer, and even the previously unseen Elizabeth Cross and Jacob Cross make an appearance.

It shouldn’t come as a surprise that the Dead Space remake is adding more meat to the bone while cutting back on some of the unnecessary stuff, with both EA and Motive Studio keen on delivering a more cohesive and updated experience. If the Dead Space trailer is anything to go by, we are in for a fun and horrific ride.

Players can also expect more content in terms of side quests, which will help to flesh out the story of the USG Ishimura even more.

Knowing the aftermath of the chaos is not the same as living it, and hopefully, we will be able to see more of the carnage unfold with this remake.

Prepare yourself to fear space once more, as the Dead Space remake arrives on Jan 27 for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
