Instagram account @SGtindermata evaluates men’s Tinder profiles, whether they like it or not

A new Singaporean Instagram account focusing on the follies of modern app-fuelled dating has popped up, and this one’s not shying away from privacy issues.
The people behind @sgtindermata assert themselves to be the police force of the local Tinder space, but it seems like they’re playing judge, jury, and executioner too. The shtick here is that they upload screenshots of men’s Tinder profiles as well as cringeworthy exchanges before dispensing scores (based on their own criteria) and savage commentary.
Another novelty of the Instagram account would be the bold disregard to privacy — faces of the men being roasted (and thirsted) are on full display, exposing their identity in the name of getting some lulz. Honestly, some of the lads' messages are pretty off-putting, but still, they probably deserve a bit of decency not to have their visages exhibited for fun without consent.
It’s also notable that @SGtindermata’s routine is pretty similar to @rabaktinder, an Instagram account set up earlier this year to showcase the dire landscape of Singapore’s dating scene through awful profiles and interactions on dating apps.
The blatant difference between the two being that @rabaktinder makes sure that the men being ridiculed don’t have their mugs exposed. The magnitude of cringe remains pretty much the same though — hell really is other people’s dating profiles.
When asked for a statement about the new kid on the block, @rabaktinder simply replied us “Hmmmz where's the jokes”, and this GIF.
