Lenovo has announced ThinkPad X1, a full-fledged laptop with a foldable display. The laptop was previewed and demonstrated at the company's Accelerate conference.

The ThinkPad X1 will feature a display that bends seamlessly at the centre and the company underscores the versatility of the foldable screen as it goes from "book" mode with a reduced width of 50 per cent, to its full display size of 13.3-inch.

The display is made in collaboration with LG and features a single OLED 2K panel. The ThinkPad X1 is powered by Intel and runs on Windows. Lenovo claims the device combines "laptop productivity with smartphone portability" and will unveil more product details as well as its availability in 2020.
