Nintendo just showed off a couple of new features that will be coming to Pokemon Sword and Shield.
Starting off, two new Pokemon were revealed - Cramorant and Polteageist.

Cramorant is a Flying/Water Pokemon. It comes with the unique Gulp Missile ability, which allows it to come back with food in its mouth after using the Dive or Surf moves. This is known as its Gulping Form. While in Gulping Form, Cramorant is able to counterattack with whatever's in its mouth if it is attacked.

Polteageist is the Ghost type Pokemon. Its body is made of black tea and it appears to have made its home inside a broken teapot. Very appropriately, since it dwells inside a teapot, it has the Weak Armor ability which causes its defence to fall (and its speed to rise) when it gets hit by physical attacks.
Pokemon Camps were introduced next. You'll be able to play with your Pokemon or even make meals for them while camping.

The meals you'll be able to cook are curries, which are supposedly popular in the Galar region. The ingredients you choose will determine the type of curry you cook up, and the quality of the dish will depend on your ability to fan the flames and stir the pot while cooking.

There is even a Curry Dex that registers the different types of curry you've made, giving completionists another thing to fret over.
Developer Game Freak also appears to be expanding the multiplayer options in the Pokemon series through the Pokemon Camps function. Up to four players can gather in someone's camp, where you can check out their Pokemon and make curry together.
In addition, there will be multiple versions of Alcremie the cream Pokemon based on the flavouring it has.
Player customisation options were discussed as well. Character customisation is more in-depth than ever in Sword and Shield.

Not only will you be able to change the tops and bottoms of your character's clothes, but you'll also have the ability to pick things such as outerwear and gloves. Hair and makeup options are present as well and you can change these by visiting boutiques and hair salons you come across in your travels.
Another way that players can differentiate themselves is through League Cards. These are cards which provide detailed information about trainers and can be viewed as you trade them with other players.
They're also displayed when you participate in Link Battles. You can use the Card Maker function to edit your card, choosing options to change aspects such as the background, the frame, your expression, your pose.
Pokemon Sword and Shield will be available on the Nintendo Switch on 15 November.
