ROG Edition 20 golds all-in for its 20th anniversary
The commemorative lineup features an 800W RTX 5090, a 3,000W PSU, twin AMOLED screens on a motherboard and actual 24K gold, culminating in an Ultimate Bundle priced at $20,899.

For anyone who has ever looked at a gaming PC and thought it could use another screen, more wattage or a little actual gold — turns out that ROG has apparently been listening.

You probably won’t find the word ‘restraint’ anywhere in ROG’s 20th anniversary lineup, which reminds us that excess is the feature, not a bug.

While enthusiast PC builders are no strangers to putting collectables inside their computer builds, it seems like ROG has decided with the Edition 20 that the computer should be the collectable instead.

The ROG Edition 20 collection spans PC components, systems, displays, and peripherals, dressed in a mix of black, red, translucent materials, and gold — doubling up as visual flexes as well.

If you fancy going all out, the Ultimate Bundle, containing most of the core hardware, will set you back a cool $20,899. Here are some of the highlights.

An 800W graphics card deserves a 3,000W power supply

The ROG Astral GeForce RTX 5090 Edition 20 is probably the most familiar kind of ROG excess. ASUS allows the card to draw up to 800W, with power supplied through a detachable dual-input adapter. Keeping it cool involves four fans, liquid metal and a vapour chamber.

That would already be plenty, but Edition 20 also adds a curved AMOLED display for animations and system information, plus a transparent glass backplate to showcase the hardware underneath.

For a ‘set bonus’, there’s the ROG Thor 3000W Titanium III Edition 20, which delivers up to 3,000W and is designed for extreme configurations ‘requiring’ as many as four RTX 5090s. It uses server-grade GaN MOSFETs, active thermal management and voltage-stabilisation hardware.

Most people buy a power supply worrying whether it has enough headroom to supply one RTX 5090 consistently and reliably; ROG has apparently left room for three more.

The motherboard has two AMOLED screens

The ROG Crosshair X870E Edition 20 features a full-width thermal deck with a pure-copper heatsink, a dedicated Ryujin 360 Edition 20 cooler and support for up to nine M.2 SSDs. But what will really catch your eye are the two 6.67-inch swivel AMOLED displays, which can show system information through ASUS InfoHub.

All that glitters is actually gold

The Azoth Extreme Edition 20 keyboard uses a precision-machined aluminium chassis, carbon-fibre positioning plate, adjustable gasket mount and full-colour OLED touchscreen. The anniversary treatment? What say you to genuine 24K gold elements?

The matching Harpe II Extreme Edition 20 mouse combines a 65K AimPoint Pro sensor, optical switches rated for 100 million clicks, 8K wireless operation, Gorilla Glass feet, 24K gold-plated accents, and a presentation box.

Not every ridiculous number is decorative

No gold accoutrements here, just gold medal position refresh rates. The ROG Swift OLED PG27AQWP-G Edition 20 with its 26.5-inch Tandem WOLED panel runs at 2560×1440 at up to 540Hz. It features a dual mode that drops the resolution to HD and raises the refresh rate to 720Hz. Grey-to-grey response time is rated at 0.02 ms, and it supports DisplayPort 2.1 connectivity.

The ROG NUC 16 Edition 20, which we covered previously, takes a different approach to physical excess by squeezing an RTX 5090 Laptop GPU into an approximately three-litre mini PC.

Twenty years later, the Crosshair goes back to 2006

One of the more charming anniversary products on show, the new ROG Crosshair 2006 takes its visual cues from the original motherboard that launched the ROG line 20 years ago.

But retro callbacks or not, they’re slapping a screen on anyway: A two-inch OLED display over the primary M.2 slot can show CPU clocks, temperatures and fan speeds, or custom images and animations.

How much does maximum ROG cost?

The ROG Edition 20 Ultimate Bundle starts at SGD 20,899 and includes the Astral RTX 5090 Edition 20, Crosshair X870E Edition 20, GR20 open-frame case, Thor 3000W Titanium III Edition 20, Azoth Extreme Edition 20, Harpe II Extreme Edition 20 and Ryujin 360 Edition 20 cooler.

A smaller Gaming Bundle costs $11,999 and includes the NUC 16 Edition 20, Azoth Extreme, Harpe II Extreme, and Swift OLED. The Edition 20 Rapture router costs $1,199 on its own, the Destrier chair $1,299, and the mystery keycaps $49.
