The Samsung Galaxy Fold could arrive in the market earlier than expected.
According to The Investor, Samsung Display Vice President Kim Seong-cheol revealed during a conference that the Galaxy Fold “is ready to hit the market” as “most of the display issues have been ironed out.” Kim added that he has high expectations for the foldable phone and is confident that it “will receive a lot of attention in the market.”
Samsung delayed the launch of the Galaxy Fold in April after reviewers encountered display issues within 48 hours. Since then, the company has not officially confirmed a new launch date.

The Korea Herald reported a few days ago that the schedule of a media event in Korea and its official launch event have not been confirmed, which ruled out the possibility of a July launch. Another media outlet claims Samsung will hold a press conference later this month to share details on the changes made to the phone.
