The Singapore Atrium Sale Facebook page is probably best described as a social media account for serial bargain hunters by serial bargain hunters. It’s a no-frills take on spreading the word on cheap deals that actually matter to the masses — from cookware sales to frozen hot dog bundles; from Mamee Monster packets to cut-rate watermelons.
With deals and bargains being the very lifeblood of every Singaporean citizen, it’s no surprise that the Facebook page has accumulated over 170,000 follows. But not everyone is on board for one particularly crucial aspect of the page: the individual running it.
The person running Singapore Atrium Sale stands accused of being… a tad bit aggressive.

So much so that there’s a new Facebook page called “Singapore Atrium Sale But Nicer”, which is basically just that. The clone page scrapes all the useful posts about good deals from the original Singapore Atrium Sale sans the “ego and lack of professionalism”.
“No ego issues, no comment deletion, no rude admins and certainly no page bans,” the replica Facebook page wrote in its description. “We try to track the main page and post word for word.”
So yes, there are two nearly identical Facebook pages right now for deal hunters to follow. One is the OG, the other wants to offer a friendlier browsing experience.
Naturally, the administrator behind Singapore Atrium Page is not amused, even if the duplicate claims itself to be a satirical or parody page. Anyone who even dares to like the cloned page will get the permanent ban hammer, wrote the OG account. Heck, legal actions are even being considered.
“Naming a page as parody doesn't hide the ill intention it can be taken to court with. I didn’t want to go to that route but since I was approached, I will decide when I wake up. We shall see.”

But from what we’ve seen, folks really do appreciate the pleasantries offered by the “nicer” page.
