Back to Azeroth we go!

At this point, it really is for the best that we all stay home to avoid spreading Covid-19. Unfortunately, that could prove difficult for those of us who have hobbies that actually involve going outside.

For gamers however, this is going to be easy!

Blizzard Entertainment is enticing all Warcraft players - even those who dropped the game a while ago - to return to Azeroth for some more MMO mayhem in these trying times.

A post on Blizzard's website reads: "If you're staying inside and find yourself returning to Azeroth, or if you're leveling another character (or two), you'll be getting a special bonus to help you on your way."

Players who log into World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth will get a little buff called 'Winds of Wisdom'.

The buff will allow all players to get double XP from now until April 20, 2020.

Starter Edition and Legion players will also get this buff, and you can still make use of your favourite heirlooms while overflowing in XP gains.

Hey, why not make use of your new stuck-at-home status and grind a couple levels out for nostalgia's sake?
