AsiaOne on air: Not sure what to do this weekend? Check out these cool places

The arts scene seems to be going hard this January, so The Party Girl decided to check out some cool ones happening this weekend.

From Saturday till Jan 29, there will be an Andy Warhol: Social Circus exhibition at Gillman Barracks. This is the largest collection of Warhol's personal polaroids on show in Asia. It features photos of prominent actors, artists, and fashion designers from the '70s and '80s.

The Party Girl attended the launch event yesterday (Jan 13) and found the exhibits nostalgic. It was fun to try to figure out who these famous people are when they were much younger.

Also on Saturday is the third annual Aliwal Urban Art Festival. From 4pm, the carpark area on Aliwal Street will be taken over to showcase some super cool underground beats by local artists as well as artistic graffiti, and skateboarding.

The after-party will be at Sultan Hotel with the Matteblacc and Pushin'On DJs. All for free!

And on Sunday, a new place on Emily Hill at Upper Wilkie Road is having a day-timer from 3pm. They said there will be "a spot of tea, a Reggae bounce" and a "Singapura sunny Sunday".

If you don't know, now you know.

To catch the Party Girl, listen to her on OneFM's #1 Breakfast Show with Andre Hoeden, Glenn Ong and The Flying Dutchman on Thursday mornings.
