F1 star George Russell engaged to influencer Carmen Montero Mundt

F1 star George Russell has confirmed his engagement to influencer Carmen Montero Mundt.

The 28-year-old British racer - who drives for Mercedes alongside teammate Kimi Antonelli - and the 28-year-old Spanish beauty took to Instagram to announce their happy news by sharing a series of pictures from their romantic getaway and showing off her unique ring.

The post was simply captioned with a ring and silver heart emoji.

The Mercedes F1 Facebook page congratulated the pair, writing: "Congratulations George and Carmen on your engagement."

The official F1 account posted: "Congratulations to you both!"

The loved-up pair have been together for around six years.

F1 is full of romance with Sir Lewis Hamilton's relationship with Kim Kardashian taking the spotlight.

His Ferrari teammate Charles Leclerc recently tied the knot with model Alexandra Saint Mleux, while Williams driver Alex Albon got engaged to golfer Lily Muni He earlier this year.

Lewis and Kim were first romantically linked earlier this year, and the reality TV legend is believed to be taking their romance seriously.

A source recently told People: "[Lewis is] just an easy-going guy with great energy. Her family likes him and Kim's very into him.

"They are both busy with their careers, but see each other as much as possible."

Kim and Lewis are said to have "more than just a casual connection", with the insider adding: "It takes a lot to capture Kim's interest and she's definitely intrigued."

The power couple enjoyed a trip to Japan together, and they are said to have spent a weekend at Estelle Manor in the Cotswolds, England, as well as visiting Paris, France, in early February.

They also appeared together publicly at the 2026 Super Bowl on February 8, when they were shown on the stadium's big screen during the game between the New England Patriots and the Seattle Seahawks.

They were also spotted seeing a play together in New York.

Lewis and Kim had previously known each other for several years before being romantically involved.
