Fans marvel at photos of Chinese bus driver who looks like Leslie Cheung

16 years after his death, Leslie Cheung still lives on in the hearts of his fans.

They've been organising annual memorials and setting up cafes filled with memorabilia to keep his legacy alive.

Now, netizens are once again marvelling at the looks of a bus driver who bears a striking resemblance to the late Hong Kong star.

His features, facial expressions, and his physique remind them of the deceased singer-actor when he was young.

The photos resurfaced on social media this week, two years after they first went viral on the Internet.

A bus passenger who spotted the lookalike had snapped the photos and posted them online.

The fan wrote at the time: "This bus driver really looks like Leslie. I hope that he's still alive and living a simple life now."

"I've seen Gor Gor (Cantonese for Big Brother)," another netizen exclaimed.

Some fans who saw the photos entertained the idea that Leslie had faked his death to escape the pressures of being a superstar, while others thought that the bus driver could be a reincarnation of the late star.

Many netizens also remarked that it was a waste for such a good-looking man to not become an online celebrity.

But the man said that he is content making an honest living as a bus driver, Chinese media reported.

46-year-old Leslie fell to his death from Mandarin Oriental Hotel in 2003, and left a note saying he was suffering from depression.
